Your Recreation is Our Business

Since 1956 Southgate Recreation & Park District (SRPD) has provided the community with public parks, recreation services, facilities, and an 18-hole championship golf course. Throughout the years, our community has seen the evolution of the South Sacramento area; its growing and changing business base, incredible residential growth, and the District’s emphasis on preserving open space and creating walkable communities. Community Information:

Local government prepares for everyday emergencies. However, during a disaster, the number and scope of incidents can overwhelm conventional emergency services. Metro Fire's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program is an all-risk, all-hazard training. This valuable course is designed to help you protect yourself, your family, your neighbors and your neighborhood in an emergency situation.

SACOG is holding eight public workshops in the coming weeks. These workshops will feature an open house format where participants can drop in for a few minutes and give us input about the travel choices they would like to see in their counties.
