Since 1956 Southgate Recreation & Park District (SRPD) has provided the community with public parks, recreation services, facilities, and an 18-hole championship golf course. Throughout the years, our community has seen the evolution of the South Sacramento area; its growing and changing business base, incredible residential growth, and the District’s emphasis on preserving open space and creating walkable communities.
Fall Competitive Swim Clinic
In this clinic, swimmers will elarn correct technique for freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly in addtiion to racing starts, flip turns and legal finishes. Competition swimming rules will be used and applied during the clinic. Southgate's Fall Clinic is designed for children ages 5-18 who can swim at leasst 25 yards of freestyle (crawl stroke), or who have completed the Goldfish level or equivilant of swim lessons. Sessions begin 9/2 and run through 10/23.
