Future District ProjectsOlde Florintown Parking Lot DesignThe District contracted with the Sacramento County Department of Transportation to complete the design drawings for the new Olde Florintown Park Parking Lot at the corner of McComber Street and Florin Road. The District has received grant funding from the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) to complete the design plans for the project. The improvements will include drainage, asphalt paving, landscaped islands and perimeter planting beds as well as a location for a future restroom facility. Street frontage improvements at this intersection, including a detached sidewalk, landscape plantings, decorative fencing, and a plaza with seating and a water tower monument will be constructed by the County at a future date.
