Rec Van

Now in its sixth year, the R.E.C. Van program features over forty scheduled park visits in the community and is “Bringing the Fun” back to your neighborhood. R.E.C. Van is a free, drop-in program for children of all ages.

Rainbow Park Community Garden Public Meetings

Fruitridge Community Center
February 16th; 6:30 - 8:30 pm or
February 25th; 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

This meeting is to learn about community gardens, review proposed garden design and talk with District staff and other interested gardeners in your neighborhood.

Register for Southgate Youth Basketball League

Registration 1/30-3/2  $70
Register by 2/10 and save $5
This league is geared toward 3rd - 8th gradde boys and girls of all skill levels. Skill development, fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, paarticipation and fun are the league's focus.

Register for Tee Ball

Registration 2/1-3/9  $65
Register by 2/17 and save $5
Children will learn the basics of throwing, hitting, catching, fielding and most importantly, how to work as a team in a fun-filled environment.  Each team will have one practice scheduled during the week and games will be played on Saturdays.This program is for boys and girls ages 4 to 7 (child must turn 4 years old by January 1, 2012)
