SENIOR LUNCH PROGRAM
The Meals on Wheels by Asian Community Center program serves hot lunches at the Fruitridge Community Center for seniors 60 years and older. Meals are available by reservation only with a suggested donation of $2.00 per meal. Guests of seniors are also invited to attend for a fee of $7.50 per meal. Advance lunch reservations are required. Reservations are due by 12:00 p.m. each Monday for meals being served the following week. Lunches are served Mondays - Fridays at 11:45 a.m. Please call Alice Moreno for more information or to reserve your lunch at (916) 422-7610 ext. 13.
SOUTHGATE SUNSHINE CLUB Daily activities and social opportunities are available for seniors living in South Sacramento. Come and enjoy social interaction and a hot meal provided by Meals on Wheels by ACC. All activities take place at the Fruitridge Community Center. OVER 50 CLUB The Fruitridge Over 50 Club meets each Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Fruitridge Community Center. Weekly meetings include an update of recent and upcoming activities and may also feature entertainment. Bingo is played after all regular meetings. OVER 50 CLUB BOWLERS The Over 50 Club members meet every Monday to bowl at the Alpine Alley Lanes, 2362 Florin Road from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Those who are interested are welcome to come and enjoy a morning of fun and socialization. OVER 50 CLUB CASINO TRIPS Join the Over 50 Club on the second Wednesday of each month for a bus trip to local and Nevada casinos! All buses leave at 9:00 a.m. and return between 4:30 -5:00 p.m. at the Fruitridge Community Center Trips cost $7.00 - $20.00 each. Contact Betty at (916) 421-1927 to make your reservation!

SOUTHGATE SEWING GROUP - FREE! All are welcome to join the Southgate Sewing Group. Participants should bring their own supplies, sewing machines, and current or unfinished projects to work on. An iron and ironing board will be available for group use. There is no instructor provided, but members help one another. This is a great place to sew, knit, chat and make new friends. KINNECTIONS SUPPORT GROUP FOR GRANDPARENTS AND OTHER RELATIVE CAREGIVERS Come and meet with other Grandparents and caregivers who share concerns about raising foster relatives. Learn about resources available to assist you and your family. Topics include legal rights, medical care, financial issues, respite/childcare, recreation activities, tutoring, and more. FRUITRIDGE LATIN AMERICAN CLUB Come join the “Fruitridge Latin American Club” at the Fruitridge Community Center each afternoon for socializing with friends and making new acquaintances while playing cards.
