Swim & Aquatic ProgramsIf you're interested in competitive swimming and live in the Sacramento area, there are several options available: Southgate's Competitive Swim ClinicsThe next swim clinic starts in March! Swimmers will learn correct technique for freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly in addition to racing starts, flip turns and legal finishes. Competition swimming rules will be used and applied during the clinic. Southgate's clinics are designed for children ages 6 – 18 who can swim at least 25 yards of freestyle (crawl stroke), or who have completed the Goldfish level or equivalent of swim lessons. Register Here! View Flyer. The Sac Town Tsunami Swim TeamThe Sac Town Tsunami Swim Team is a growing recreational swim team in the South Sacramento and Elk Grove area. They strive to help young swimmers master the four primary swim strokes and develop strong swimming skills, with a focus on personal improvement in a moderately competitive environment. They are part of the Nugget Conference in the Northern California Swim League. Those interested in joining must be under 18 years of age and able to swim 25 yards of freestyle. Parkway Swimming ClubThe Parkway Swimming Club hosts the Parkway Dolphins, a competitive swim team in the South Sacramento area. They offer swim team and family swim memberships. Swimmers must be between the ages of four and eighteen and able to swim 25 yards of freestyle. |
