Prerequisites: Students must be 15 years old by the ending date of course. Participants will be required to swim 300 yards continuously using front crawl (freestyle) and breaststroke while rhythmically breathing; and pass a timed test consisting of a surface dive, 10-pound brick retrieval and a total of 40 yards of swimming. The swim test will be held on first day of the course.
Note: The first class will be held at Rutter Swim Center. Classes will be held at either location depending on the activity scheduled. Transportation is not provided between facilities.
